About a week and a half ago we had post titled His Basics, where we asked you guys to send us pictures of the essentials of your everyday life. Just for the fun of it we want everyone to vote on their favorite "His Basics/Essentials" photo... Some of the photos are simple, while others are more involved. Each tells you a little about the person. So don't only choose your favorite based upon their designer labels and country, choose the one that showcase a distinct personality. Let's peruse their essentials of cool...

So.... which "his basics" photo is your favorite?

Stumble It!
My vote goes for #5. I feel like #4 took a time machine to my college days to take his picture, but i like the fact that he's cool and confident enough to show it off.
ReplyDeleteI vote 8. I could really recognize his personality and his style. But 10 gets an honorable mention for rocking Uggs, he's very secure. I personally wouldn't be able to take the looks May'be its different in the Netherlands.
ReplyDeletemy favorite is number 2
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely a tie between 10 and 7 to me.
ReplyDeleteI would have to go with # 8. It captures the essence of what an urban gent picture would look like. I could see those photos in a clothing ad somewhere.
ReplyDeleteHonorable mention:
#1 gets honorable mention his basics just look very well traveled. And they are in fact basic. No phone needed. I will contact YOU if need be.
#1 is cool. It's simple, but classy.
ReplyDeleteI vote for #8 cause hes the only one who wanted to show his style and not to show off like the others...I mean it says "the basics" and you cant tell me that all of them wears gucci, lv or ralph lauren on a daily basis and has the closet full of it...especially #10..these are no basics, this is everything he posesses
ReplyDeleteI'm the guy from nr. 10. In amsterdam, boys easily can wear uggs.
ReplyDeleteOr well, I don't really care what people think of me wearing uggs. Ofcourse you hear a lot that you are gay if you wear uggs. I just don't like to get cold feet, and it looks pretty neat to me as well. And no, i'm not gay either.
I'm glad some of you like my style. (although you didn't even see me in person! ( For those who are intrested, http://www.facebook.com/#/profile.php?ref=name&id=1176150429)
#4 takes it for the 3310 alone, rockin' phone.
ReplyDeleteAlso, his set-up is practical, and doesn't flash labels or cash in a major way. Subtle.
BOOM.
i vote for #2..simplicity at its best.
ReplyDeleteI vote #7... very simple and clean but definitely puts thought into it considering the gq mag with rihanna on the cover
ReplyDeleteNumber Two is very very simple!

ReplyDeleteI am going with #4, Daniel. He is so oldschool and goes with what WORKS while having that flair to mix it in.
ReplyDeleteI Vote For Number Six (6) Because In That Picture It Shows The Common Essentials of Someones Everyday Life While As For The Others Not So Much. To Sum Up My Vote, I Do Like What Each Pitcure Contains But My Vote Goes To Number Six (6) For Showing The Common Essentials & Being Creative While Taking The Picture. Good Job.

ReplyDeleteI vote for Eziq, No.5. Looks like he's the only one who dares to tell what car he is driving. And it's not ANY car. That's a big accomplishment for a bachelor. A true gentleman. Salute!

TWELVE!
ReplyDeleteTWELVE!
ReplyDeleteI really like how non-pretentious (and even old-fashioned) Daniel from London's essentials are. A greyscale cell, blocky janitor keys, and a mini-disc player, of all things! It's our generation's vintage.
