Hey Urban Gent Readers!
There is a reason I haven't really posted since this past weekend... it's because "I'm moving on up (moving on up) to the eastside", lol (Jeffersons theme song). No but really I am moving from Atlanta to Manhattan to start a new chapter in life and to really experience style in the fashion capitol of the world (I'll be studying fashion at Parsons School of Design too). I'm pretty excited and nervous, but mostly nervous because I'm going to miss Atlanta- I LOOOOOVE Atlanta:-) And I'm pretty southern, a "Georgia Peach" if you will, so the fast-paced world of Manhattan is going to be different, but I'll love every moment of it....
So, I've been preparing to move all week and I've been packing (I'm STILL packing). We're driving up (pretty crazy huh) so I expect to arrive there on Sunday. I may not be able to write anymore post til mid next week... just check back periodically!!
Oh, and if you have any questions or topic suggestions, just leave them in the comment box below or email me at urbangentblog(at)gmail(dot)com (I'll be checking my email via my phone for the next few days).

hii i'm new to this city and i'm kinda running slow wif money now but i still wanna be looking fresh and as best as i can be do u have any suggestions on where i should go to shop for a Geometric REtro Nerd and a college cool kinda wardrobe for cheap, and bargain prices if u do would u mind telling me the address thanks and plz keep it inside the borough of queens thnx much appreciated
